My custom CMS (smplCMS) written in Perl, with a database backend based on MySQL, which runs this site will soon be available under an open source licence at sourceforge.
Another open source project I have developed is smplPR which is a problem management tool developed for use in the O&DS test team I work in with BT, when completed this product will also be available on sourceforge.
I have also been learning PHP in order to develop some web services for a friend's company, some early examples of the code are found here: TTF to PNG(Download Suspended Temporarily) and Version 2(Download Suspended Temporarily)
The winamp now playing notification at the top right of this page was the first AJAX powered object I created. You would be amazed how useful AJAX is.. if you havent already do check it out.
Another large part of the site is my Photo Gallery which is written in perl and does some very clever stuff in the background, all through one script. It is a very very very heavily modified build of my own based off the earlier GPL'ed work of the MyPhotoGallery guys. I will get round to finishing it off and releasing it sometime soon as it really is starting to take shape.
